Exchange experiences

I'm in the process of buying our first van and so probably won't fancy an exchange for a year or two. I was just wondering if anybody here has already done an exchange and how it went.

Hi mudmonster.I don't know of anyone on here who has actualy exchanged with someone even though this particular forum has the occasional request but i stand to be corrected

hi we did an exchange last year oct half term , went very well no problems at all

Sounds like a good idea unfortunately not aloud on residential park we are on but if we move to holiday park would consider it for change of scenery

i don,t think i would want to exchange.we have personalised ours,so it is like a second home.if we exchanged or rented out,it would have to be less homely.

mick1950.I am with you on that our van is shared by our family but I wouldnt lie to share with anyone else.

We have lent our van to friends just twice, to be honest we don't really like it as we feel the van is our personal hideaway for us and our close family.

I worry about our old girl when we let friends or family use her let alone strangers. I also go mad making her spotless when other people use her.
