Default Van thermostat fitting

Hello all
I am relatively new to this static caravan malarkey, less than a year so would appreciate some help.
I have a Mulberry Neo with a Murco GB24 series 2 boiler.
I am thinking of fitting a portable ie wireless thermostat.
The idea being that on a night I take the thermostat into the bedroom and have it set at about 15 degrees. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
P.S Don't want to be spending a fortune on an all dancing and singing thermostat, something simple would do

Have a look at the Salus RT310RF , simple and cheap , I have the RT300 model which is its predecessor, been working fine for the 2 or 3 years I have had it. We do exactly what you say , we just adjust the temperature to suit , no time settings .
You have a receiving unit and you will have to wire 2 wires to the boiler and also have mains power to it which can be took off the boiler or do what I did and put a plug on it .

Best to look at boiler manual to see where to connect receiver .

The receiver needs 2 wires wiring into the boiler for the thermostat but the receiver also needs mains power so for this I put a plug on it and plugged it into a socket but you could take the mains feed of the boiler if you wanted to

I bought my thermostat from Amazon
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Beok-BOT-31...BPBBWFX43A04WE

You can connect it and then use your mobile to set the temperature in the bedroom or even before you reach the Caravan, You can keep it on Frost setting to prevent the caravan from freezing

So much cheaper than those portable one

Just Remove the old stat and wire up two wires and a neutral and your away

Called at van today...might help others with wifi thermostat...as electric had been off on boiler, gas certificate and service done by plumber....The thermostat had lost wifi access to receiver..just had to replace battery in thermostat....must admit can't beat a wifI thermostat because of its portability.

We use a Computherm RF wireless thermostat, which sounds exactly like what you need. We do what you want to ie set the thermostat to 15 and take in the bedroom at night to keep warm. The Computherm can be set to 7 different settings a day and for 7 days of the week. We had a plumber connect it to the boiler and he fitted a wireing block to reduced the power so it runs from the boiler powers so we don't need a seperate plug to the mains. We didn't need a WiFi connection as we didn't go the Hive or Nest route.
