Default floor insulation - AGAIN!

our static appears to have no underfloor insulation at all - just the chip board floor!!

i've seen the foil backed type insualtion that is being used on here quite a lot but i can't find anywhere to buy it as i wish to do it myself.

any advice on the best place to be looking or what its called exactly??

thanks in advance ;-)

Good luck with the B&Q stuff, its designed for fitting to the wall behind a radiator, you may find it unsuitable for an external application.

Be careful insulation foils may look similar but are manufactured to different tolerances and specifications depending on intended application.

That's them 600mm x 7.5m rolls yes that's a similar type you would need about 10 to 12 rolls to do a full floor plus the foil is steel and not aluminium like what we use, the steel type will just rust over time, you also need to be glueing it up as well as stapling in case the staples rust over time
We sell a big roll which covers a van upto 37 x12 foot
