Default Cosalt Sandhurst 2002 light bulb

Hi guys, can anybody tell me what the push fit bulb is called in a Cosalt Sandhurst? It is the light that goes above the bed-it is wooden with a black switch underneath it. The bulbs have two connectors at eash end and they push into the housing.

Can I as hell find them

Si

No, not got a pic

I thought it was a E35 bulb, but cannot find one that looks like the one I need.

Found them-35watt architectural fluorescent tube s14s. Just need to measure the size, 300mm or 500mm. As they are 10 a pop they be not cheap

Might be cheaper to just replace the unit with something that takes standard energy saving bulbs.

Hmm - I have to say the thought had crossed my mind - something with a similar base size that supports a pull switch or similar. - That'd make much easier in future if the situation arose where you needed to replace the bulb again.

In fact the new fitting itself probably wont be that much more expensive than replace the existing bulb by the time you've paid for postage for it etc x

Yep, will have to have a hunt around, wiring is no problem so just need to get a suitable unit. As you say, will solve a lot of issues regarding sourcing bulbs at expensive prices, I am looking at 25 for two of these bulbs including postage. For that I can get two new units and I have plenty of spare bulbs.
