Just looked it up - it is near us on 7th July.... Wonder how much the torch relay is costing too?

It is coming to Wolves at the end of this month mutt. Needless to say I won't be taking the day off to cheer it on. It's nice though for the kids to see I suppose and also nice for those awarded the honour of carrying it. I do hope the cost is included in the eleven BILLION pounds it's already costing us the taxpayer but somehow I doubt it.

Can do without the Olympic 'hype', but will enjoy watching bits of it on tv-but not the tedious opening/closing ceremonies.... yawn-Some very fit blokes ride on those rowing boats to paraphrase Peter Kay

Watched the million pound drop live last night and two young lads who seemed to spend a lot of time in the gym didn't even know what the olympic motto for this country.They lost about 600k on that.

Don't think I would have known either. Might have been able to guess it from the choices available though - just shows how much interest I have in it all.
