Blimey that's cheap! Mine are around 3200 plus gas electric, and insurance costs. The season is last weekend in Feb to last weekend in Nov.
For that amount, I have direct access to a flat safe endless sandy beach, and a heated indoor pool, laundrette, small shop, club with patio overlooking the beach,(with room for a small pony lol) and the option to 'hire out' should I choose to do so.
The nearest town is approx 4 miles away (Barmouth) The site put on a minibus in peak season for a small charge.
There is no age restriction as such, once your van reaches 20years old, an annual safety inspection is carried out. So as long as you maintain your caravan in a good safe condition it can stay... There are some caravans 25 years old maybe more, they are well maintained and loved by their owners.

ours is also on a meter, I beleive it's 12p per unit, so far we estimate a bill of around 30 then of course there's VAT... but we're happy if that's right, we used 'our old girl' right up until the last weekend in Nov minus 14!!! so the lecky did it's worst lol

It sounds a good price. Our season is 15th March to 15th Jan and we pay 2,500, but have a lot of facilities, but luckily very very few small things (children) as the site seems to be for people who are in their fifties, so very happy with that

Where are you located?

With sites fees, gas, electric and extra charges our yearly costs are approaching 7k! The sub-letting income is way short of covering this now. On top of that, since the recession took hold, the park seems to be charging extra for every little thing.

I feel very lucky reading how much others pay, last year it cost us just over 2k all inclusive for the season March to November - site fee's will be about 1860 this year, leccy's gone up a bit, expect hike in insurance, but still expecting to be under 2,500
