We either have to leave our heating at 15 OR drain down.

Glad that Flixton like me has taken time to read exclusions etc. as it would be annoying to claim ,then find the Insurance will not pay out.

Hi tt.The bit about leaving the boiler on came in an amendment on a separate piece of paper to the actual booklet of T&C's.It mentions nothing about draining down on this amendment.However it does refer you to the summary and when you read this the word "or" is there,this pertains to turning the water off at the main and draining down.Unfortunately when these amendments are read the wording scares you to death.Unless you actually read the summaries.

the main thing for peeps is to get into the habit of switching water off oct31 to apr as per Insurance when unoccupied otherwise NOT insured
