How do I stop the heat from the radiator going behind the curtain.

Not really the look I'm going for..

The best bet would be to upgrade the Curtains.
Thermal Blackout and a bit longer to tuck behind. Idea for winter use, you can always change to the others in the summer, But thats what i have, They tuck behind the rad and being thermal lined keeps the heat in
