Default Morco D51B Parts manual / schematic

Hi,

Is the above manual / schematic readily available to anybodys knowledge please folks ?

A friend of mine let a "friend" use his caravan for a few weeks after a relationship breakdown and whilst said friend was there the Thermo couple packed up, so he decided to strip down the boiler and has left it in a million bits, and understandibly we are all left scratching our heads with no local gas safe engineer willing to touch it !

Any help highly appreiceated.

Many Thanks

Dave

Sorry Dave, you need a GasSafe engineer to do the job. Trying yourself could be potentially fatal. Can't believe anyone is contemplating it TBH.

Actually I don't get this. If he knew enough to know it was the thermocouple he would know the thermo is just secured with one nut. WTF is he doing stripping down the boiler?

Well put Indianwells.
Nobody should contemplate playing with any gas appliance, unless qualified.

I don't and the owner sure doesn't know what this "friend" was playing at either, the invertor was also broke, some friend eh.

So what would you suggest if he can't get anyone in to fix it, nobody has agreed to help so far and he's ran out of numbers to contact.

Cheers

My engineer charges around 250 all in to fit a new one so that may be the route to take.

Totally agree with you - If you could find anyone that will touch it, think it will cost more than that to try and sort out the old one ..............

Personally I would be having very harsh words with this so called friend lol.

Seems very reasonable, I'd have thought they'd be more than that.
