Can the seating foam be replaced by pocket sprung ?
(We have just got at home riser recliner chairs that are pocket sprung seating).

Hi Treetopper I am very interested in replacing our seat cushions as they are very uncomfortable, a cheap foam filling, they sag with no comfort!
Our caravan is on Anglesey and I believe Menai Upholstery at Llanfairfechan do a replacement of fillings. I am waiting on a reply from them as to what they can or not do.
They may be able to help you, they are on Facebook, a friend of mine had his seating done.

I've not seen anyone advertising that as an option

I would think it very much depends upon the structure of the frame, especially the cushion support section. Many frames have the crossed rubber straps, some have pegboard. What is your support section made of?
I would imagine for a price most frames could be adapted.

Replacement foam can be very effective, using different density /shapes of foam (chosen to suit the individual) can in fact be really comfortable IF the support section is still doing its job. A rolled edge beneath the knee section can improve posture dramatically.

Just as an update I have had my seated cushions all refilled with 2 types of quality foam, and its made a huge difference to the comfort in my caravan, very impressed.

The guy said he could change it all to pocket sprung at a later date if I wished

He was brilliant well recommend him

Really pleased you've found comfort in your static, very important especially with the darker nights approaching.
Personal recommendation always good too.
