NOW that would be the mother in law tatting when you weren't there! Mine buggered ours completely trying to toast a marshmellow on the pilot light to 'reduce her carbon footprint'(it was her turn to buy the next gas bottle the miserly old heffer!) Have a whiskey and a smoke and call in a proffesional.

These fridges are indeed fitted to motorhomes and have had proplems in the past. They are supposed to know if they are fitted to gas or mains and which you are using, but many running on mains shut off and are wanting to put onto gas. I would suggest you have it properly looked at, as these are fitted to motorhomes and the like I would maybe seek advice from a caravan/motorhome service techinician.

First things first:

Have you enough gas in the bottle, I know you're not stupid but maybe the pressure is low or not enough gas.

Check hoses and pipework to the fridge, is there any perishing?

Maybe the flue is blocked or the burner needs cleaning?

Or the solonoid/thermostat has gone.

Failing that the fridge sounds like it has a cut off for some reason or has developed a fault, maybe just needs a service.

Here is a owners manual if you don't have one. http://www.giordanobenicchi.it/campe...ic-RM-6505.pdf
