Default Gas usage - ouch!

Just got back from a cold week at the van.
Believe it or not we used a full 47kg cylinder in just over a week running the central heating!
It was even turned off in the middle of the night and during the day until teatime!
Better than been cold though!

Well, as we've said on here many many times, CH is expensive to run, but as long as you are aware of that fact, and accept that, its fine, like you say, better to be warm.

I bought a cheap electric convector heater from Argos....it is cheap to run and really gives out a good heat so I leave it on once the gas ch has warmed the van up and it seems to keep the van fairly warm.
