Default Sofa

i know some people on here have replaced the fixed seating for free standing sofas , so can someone give some ideas where to look as i'm having trouble finding a decent sofabed that'll fit in through the doors. Also can anyone recommend a good carpet fitter in the Skegness area.

Thanks

Paul

Don't know anything about them but google came up with this:

http://www.nabru.co.uk/caravan_sofa....FQRTfAodq38A2w

Be careful when removing fixed seating as it sometimes acts as a support for the van. I would check for threads on here with regards to removing fixed seating

Thats the same company that i keep finding. I've got there fabric samples and the colours feel and look good and i've been scouring the web for reviews and all seems ok i would just like to find other options, regarding the supporting side of it i've spoken to the man who does the work on our site and he can't see a problem and i'm waitin to hear from Park&leisure to see what he says, i've had a good look and from what i can see most of the frame doesn't appear to join up in a structural way .

We have free standing sofas but my husband finds them really uncomfortable. He wants to get a corner sofa to replace them. We have a Willerby Vogue and the sitting room is quite big so I wondered if we could just buy an ordinary sofa rather than one specifically designed for a caravan. I don't want to buy one on the internet as we might end up with something just as uncomfortable as the one we have now.

We too have free standing sofas, one is a sofa bed with pull out metal bed frame and mattress...took us a while to work out how it worked ..doh!
Ours are really comfy, even the sofa bed one which surprised us. They appear to just be ordinary sofas and not special caravan ones...what would a special caravan one be like?? I can't think why buying an ordinary one would be a problem.
As for fitting a sofa through the door, as long as the sofa is no longer than the height of the door then with a bit of manoeuvring it should fit through.

We got rid of our sofa bed. It was so uncomfy.
Bought a 3 seater settee and 1 reclining chair in red leather to replace original and it's really comfy and looks good to.
Had to take a window out to get it in though.

Did you buy ordinary ones or special "caravan" size ones?
