Default It's lights out for Scotland

French Static Caravan designers have come up with an unusual design aimed at reducing light pollution in rural areas in Northern Scotland.
Their design is rather controversial, as the external colour is black.
Star gazers are hailing it as "the future" in modern static caravans, as the Static Caravan Parks would be invisible to the naked eye at night.

Features are said to include automatic black out blinds, and an optional glass ceiling in the master bedroom (obviously with a blind)
The designer, Avril Duper has won several awards recently within the Static Caravan Industry, and this will be her Debut design in the UK.

I'm just trying to find the best link, the only ones so far have poor photos, you really need to see this

Good old Avril, Marvellous - we will all be stalking about up here like Ninjas. We will put our cloaked vans just North of the border and come down raping and pillaging like the good old days.

I quite enjoyed typing that this morning, I wonder if maddy hadn't put about reading it tomorrow, would it have been almost believable?
I got carried away originally with roof mounted telescopes and automatic alarmed shutters that closed when the Aurora Borialis was imminent but managed to reign in my over excited digits

What about the designers name?

Well done - I had to look back to spot that. After years of working in schools, and bring married to an April fool, usually nothing gets passed me!

I loved it! I really enjoy looking out for the April Fools in the newspapers and on-line. So much better than the rubbish the idiots at school used to pull when I was young - I hated April 1st back then!!
