Can it also be removed by a tractor or does s crane need to be ordered, also is it getting collected once removed ?
I think disconnection on it's own will probably strip you of 2 grand because the site owner isnt going to do you any favours if your leaving . Delivery & connection for most sites is between 4 & 5k . It's only connection in reverse.

yes i realise the site owner isnt gonna be too favourable, a big 4x4 normally positions vans no crane is needed and yes it will be collected i figured 2k plus might have to see what the site will offer first

Disconnection costs of ‘van can vary so much. It cost us 200 but know others who had a 0 added to the end of that. It’s a site owners choice as to what he charges. Best o& luck....As to decking we found a local firm to dismantle, transport and refit to ‘van on new site so that worked great for us. But again roll the dice, multiply by x, think of the 1st number you thought of and pray.

Hi it may be worth checking your licence site agreement ? I know mine is written into the rules that "the site " will charge to remove and clear the pitch ....At a set fee ....Not negotiable !

Ended up doing a deal to leave the van with my current site, it was actually easier than i expected disconnection was a flat 800 plus vat
removal of decking 250 plus vat, to leave, which was cheaper than i thought so i was 500 better off towards my new van after the cash offer from the site the owner was very professional about it which made it easier nothing wrong with the site or the management just the time for a change in scenery someone is gonna get a belter of a van.

Glad you’ve ended up with a deal you’re happy with. May your new Scenery provide a pleasant outlook for the future.
