We were told by our site that our local council now say that the maximum size is 5 ft down the long side of the van and 7 feet to the front. We have a fairly large bay window so clarified if the deck was from the front of the bay or the front of the van, we were told it was 7 feet from the front of the bay, so we actually have about 9 1/2 feet from the wall. Our front deck is 9 1/2 ft X 17ft and the side 24ft X 5ft, this cost us 3600, with steps and a gate, in wood.
WE were given a price for our decking of 3560 for wooden decking of 8 foot wide from the French doors x 20 foot. Down the side of the van 28 foot by 6 foot wide and then from a long window at the side of the door, 3 foot wide with 3 steps.

When the van arrived it was 30 foot to the window so now the price is 3722. Had I gone for composite it would have been 5268.

They have just started the decking and we go back to Spain this Wednesday. Still it will be there when we arrive back in September.

This is my quote for the decking I purchased in January. Rather expensive but looks 1st class.

- 6ft x 23ft to side WHITE

- Full skirt of holiday home and deck WHITE

- Premium EXCEL polymer deck board in Driftwood (grey)

- All associated ground works
