Hmm - so your holiday home is your "only or main" home, it it?
And you want to keep the same static on the same pitch in perpetuity (no upgrades - ever)?
And have to wade through 15 pages, plus legal forms, on the Gov.uk website if you want to sell?
There is a very long thread already on here about this petition, and similar petitions have already failed because they do not state exactly which aspects of the residential legislation to be applied, and in what context.
Anyone who has read all of the Mobile Homes Act will realise that it is impossible to transfer the entire legislation to holiday homes, they are two different things.
Now, a petition that targeted specific areas, such as commission costs, controlled pitch fee increases, etc., may have much more success.
Oh - and the Consumer Rights are already vastly improved, and they do apply to your holiday static also.
