I've had my Van since may last year and i've not had an electric bill as yet, But i have 3 years free site fees, I wonder if the electric is free also ??

Electric billed twice yearly with a 10 admin fee both times, we use the van 11 months the year and use the electric fire from sept onward to heat the van summer electric about 40 winter electric around 70 gas is bottle we use about 5 a year

wouldnt have thought so expect a bill after 12 months.

Gerry, as already pointed out expect a bill whenever the meters are read. They are generally all read at the same time so it may not be a full year before you receive your bill. Also, be aware that the site may not actually give you a bill. On our site, the bills are read at the end of December and a notice is posted in our library usually at the end of January. We need to then go to the office and settle the bill.

For Angela, a similar thread was posted around six to eight weeks ago.

Must admit I always take reading of gas and electric meters....today we called at van ,good job...plumber had done gas cert yesterday and left ch on (we turn boiler temp to off when we leave ,and wireless thermostat to 5 deg) it was set at 7.5 so would have been coming on in night..I dread to think if we had left calling til April what gas we would have used

Nothing to worry about. I wish my bill had been so low. 483.19 for eight months albeit most of which is spent at the van in winter. Arrive in September and depart in May.
