The park has land that could be used to site a large tank but I think it's more a question of laying the pipework and the upheaval and damage to roads and the grassed areas. Of course, that could be put right but it would probably take quite some time to complete.

That not a bad price. It very similar to our fees. We pay for gas as we need it but electricity bills are payable once per year. They will be due this month.

Must admit it's only in March, when you find any alterations etc.and van changes etc.etc.
Just had a look at TT fb page, really really nice post from someone who has had to leave because of health issues after 18 years.....We are dreading making our health decision....

Our site is expanding there will be extra static pitches created on our existing site on the area that used to be for tourers & tents and over the road there is another site being developed where there will be touring, tents, glamping and new only statics and lodges. The new part will have more space around the vans and piped gas but they plots will cost more on the new site whereas on our "old" part we pay just under £3k They will be allowed to rent out on the new site
( through the site office only ) and on our site renting is "supposedly" not allowed although that rule seems to be flaunted by many - we bought thinking it was owners only site and do not want to rent out so are not happy with the fact that people round about us do. We are also on a 12 month season now in line with the new site.

Between that development, The White House site being renovated by Shorewood Ltd, South Shore being “revitalised” ((according to rumours), the golf courses new housing, and Strawberry fields housing build that area of Bridlington is going to be so different in a couple of years. It is probably not going to be the quietest of places until it is all finished.
As to the renting out on Southcliff, we always thought it it amazing how many ‘van owners seemed to have very large extended families. We used to walk through reasonably regularly and were stopped once or twice and asked about which way was it to the beach.
Anyways Arronbrook I hope you can continue to get pleasure from your “home from home” there.
We really enjoyed our relatively short stay over the road from you but with what was happening unsettling us, the move to Burton Fleming was the way to go for us.

(Back to the threads theme) I’m not sure when the planned improvements for our little site will happen but they basically involve some new landscaping work ( ornamental trees, etc.) and filling the few available pitches there are.
Nothing major there really, as the old saying goes “ if it works why fix it?”.

Interesting to read the replies here, great to see more investment continuing.

I've noticed our previous park is now advertising four adapted caravans for hire when previously there was only one. I'm wondering what other access problems have been addressed. Might have to have a little wander around... In the interest of research obviously

My site opens on Friday also, so would be nice to see what improvements they've done if any, i know they've been repairing the grass where cars have driven over it and put small barriers and plants in corners.

Some of the roadways need redoing so i'm hoping this was sorted
