Default Name 3 Things that you can't do without

Ok

All this chat about wifi and bits that people have done to their statics made me think about what 3 things that i've either bought or done to my Caravan that i can't do without

So i would have to say in order of preference

1. Wifi Hub
2. Wifi Thermostat
3. Surestop Switch

Ok, so the Wifi is important as i do alot of paperwork when i'm at the van, so this is pretty important for me, not to mention ideal for Netflix or Now Tv.

Secondly it has to be the Wifi Thermostat, the best 24 i've ever spent, Now i can control my heating before i arrive and ensure a nice 5 degrees frost setting which keeps the van above freezing as well as keeping the damp and musty smells away.

Finally, theres nothing worst that turning off your mains from outside, If the tap is stiff or hard to reach, it would probably tempt you to live it on when your not there but with over 1,000 litres every hour coming through if you have a burst or leak then thats not funny. I Bought a Sure Stop Switch, which switches off the water from inside at a flick of a switch, Again 25 from ebay, so not expensive but it definitely puts your mind at peace when going home.

So thats my top 3 that i really could not do without, Whats yours ??

I’m going to chicken out of this as after sitting and considering carefully I can’t just stick to the limit of three.
If I did list just 3 I would be leaving out other things that I would miss terribly if I didn’t have them so they are just as important.

1. Wi-Fi the obvious one.
2.Trace Heating. No more frozen pipes and getting up to no water.
3. Generally kitting out the van with every conceivable item that we need to make the van a real home from home. (Essential to us as we spend eight months of each year at the van at present).

1. No wifi
2. No phone signal
3. No TV

When I come to my van I'm off grid and I love it. I wouldn't swap them for:

1. A decent night's sleep
2. Waking up to the birds chirping and hopping on my roof
3. The sun rising over my hills and the smell of fresh coffee

wifi wasn't an issue 9 years ago when we managed with a dongle and 1GB of data a YEAR but sadly I confess its high on my list now.
I love the view and the neighbours more than anything else really. I'd hate noisy inconsiderate neighbours and there is little you can do if they buy next door.

WE freeze lemon & lime slices and just pop a couple in the gin. Doesn't water it down when the ice melts!
