Default How Long Does It Take You to Get To Your Caravan?

Hi all.
How far do you all think is acceptable to site your van away from home?.We're in the midlands and our site is 90 miles away on the N Wales coast. It takes about 2 hours and we did this run every weekend this season.
We love the caravan but towards the end of the season the drive every Friday aft started to grate on my nerves a bit.Going as often as we do i would'nt want the van to be any further away. How to you all do with your vans?

Distance from home was a main consideration for us as we want to go "little and often" not for long stretches at a time. Ours is 77 miles away on the east coast and it takes us around 1&3/4 hrs or if heavy traffic 2 hours max to get there. I wouldn't want to travel longer than that.

Ours is now around 3 miles from where we live ! We have a holiday cottage that we 'let' from March to the end of October. We move into the van at the beginning of March and stay the whole summer ! Its handy for the holiday let and as the Wife has Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, she has no stairs to worry about and life is a great deal easier for her !!
cheers.

Hi all, my van is 300miles away door to door from brighton to south wales, which normally takes us around 3 1/4 hours on average (mainly motorways) i feel you need to travel to feel away from home!

Ours is 52 miles one hour 12 minutes away. We went down this morning and came back tonight. I only get weekends and John has to work friday nights/saturday or sunday one in 6 so few of our weekends are completely free so it works well.
