Think i must live in the same village as Arronbrook, cos our site is about 6 miles from hers and our stats are identical. 76 miles 1hr 35 going scenic route and 1hr 40 the direct route..

i cant believe i missed this the first time round...
anyway, we live in North Wales and the van is about 90 miles up North and on a good day it takes us about an hour and a half- an hour and three quarters ( depending on M56 and M6 traffic)......

and this is going to sound crazy but we often stop at charnock richard services on the way up and have a coffee...... it makes us feel like we are actually going on holiday.....

Live in Midlands, caravan in Mid Wales. 64 miles door to door, one and a half hours as long as we don't get stuck behind a tractor. For us it's an idea time, far enough so we feel like we away from home, but not far enough to become a chore to get there.

We are 65 miles away, mostly motorway so a traffic free drive does it easily in 1 hr.
Even in my husbands 55 yr old Land Rover it is only 1 1/2 hrs.
Thankfully we are close.
