Thanks for your help so far, I know this one might seen like a bit of a 'no brainer' to some, but other than the obvious ways of keeping a caravan cool, I was hoping to discover a trickl or two

Without mentioning the 'B' word, I have to say that being able to tilt them whilst still being able to see out does help alot
Do tell us the things you do, something that may seem obvious to you may not be so obvious to others, thanks

haven't i got a similar caravan to you? you have a cosalt dont you? cos i have DG and i can keep the windows on catches too. which is a big help isnt it? how does DG keep the van cool in the summer?? i know its true but how??

don't cook,or bring takeaways in,no kettle boiling,Eat Salads.Get someone to open and shut the Bs fast which will create a draught. Is this obvious ?

Ours is the same as yours - I think some vans have better insulation than others and this helps keep them cool in summer and warm in winter. I have stayed in some new fleet vans on a Haven site and it was like sitting in an oven when the sun was shining!!

funny what some people like to do in their spare time- sitting in an oven hmmmmmmm Mupps.. thought we knew you.. strange habit

and Parks is just as bad- HE sits in the fridge...

Hi munchy, I haven't bought gates yet, they sell them in argos for around 25 but I need to measure the door to see if they will fit ...

Hi

We open the front door and the kitchen window and put a large fan in the midldle. Which blows the hot air out of the door. It works a treat.
