You didn't choose your site for it's tranquility then fear?

very low fees.Fees etc seem to be determined by where your park is,and they seem to be higher where the sites are aimed at young/old families with children.

Off topic...hope that Warton BAE can be helped.

Wow! and Ouch!
to the forum, I hope you enjoy it, and get lots of useful info from here, maybe you can give us some tips... How long have you been on your site? Were expensive when you first went there? Has it been a gradual increase?

Yes, a large site near Exmouth.

We've been on the site about 3 years. We knew it was expensive compared to other sites, so went into it with our eyes open. The sites fees have not changed that much, but energy costs have risen, which must be the case for all sites now.

Subletting did offset most of that 7k, which softened the blow quite a bit. We added a deck this year and switched to a 3rd part rental company, but despite their lower commission we made less than the park paid us the year before.

The main problem we have with the site is that since the recession took hold, they seem to be on a mission to make money wherever they can. I've started another thread about that here - http://www.gostatic.co.uk/showthread.php?p=36719
