I never ever went in the Manchester store again (in fact I've just viewed a youtube film of someone speaking of the fire and I noticed behind him the store name reads Noble's). I will never forget walking down Market Street to work the following morning and looking over to Woolies and seeing odd shoes lying about (at that stage they did'nt have the windows covered), blackened with smoke but my most worst memory is seeing the girls at the bars who were in the offices above that restaurant screaming to get out). Just horrendous.

My team Nottingham Forest lost tonight and thats probably our season over, however, thoughts today are with the victims, families and friends of those who died at Hillsborough. The worst football day ever. Everything has to have perspective. Even football. There's no point in life, otherwise.

Yes Im surprised by that too, Ive heard very little, they did a weekly 'guess the year' on Radio Nottingham and that was 1989 and they touched on the subject briefly, they always hold a service in Nottingham each year with all the civil dignitaries turning up but not heard anything of that in the local rag for this year.

At last...
Hi guys, this is not meant to be political in the slightest, I just wanted to say how pleased I am for the families of the 96 that their voices have finally been heard.
My chin hit the floor when I heard some of the details from that terrible day.
I hope the families and survivors find comfort now, and if and where necessary the justice they deserve.

I know we all knew there was a cover up for a very long time, but I was just shell shocked yesterday to hear just how bad it all was and how wide spread within the different authorities involved. My heart goes out to those poor families, many of whom must now be left wondering if their family member was one of those who had 'the potential to be saved' if they had been given the opportunity of medical help.
Let's hope now that the families can get justice. JFT96 YNWA

I'm the same as you Mick, lost a daughter too. My sympathies go out to the families of the victims. But the latest news also makes victims of the families too. But about time the truth came out - finally!!!!.
