Awww thank you TT. You've given me my own personal thread to commemorate my partial retirement - thats got to be my bestest retirement present!

Talking about presents..."Whispers" looks likely that we might have the van on site next weekend. All being well. So can we have a mass GoStatic crossing of fingers please.
And they are going to try and get the gas and lecky connected so that we can have time to play, try everything out (and hopefully get the CH tested to air the van out) before the season ends in December

Thanks also to Everyone else. This is day 2 and Im really enjoying myself. I keep thinking its Saturday today but we've still got the weekend free yet

Happy retirement Marianda, it's the best thing we ever did. Hubby took early retirement at 60 and as I was 55 the same year I also gave up work (I wasn't going out to work while he stayed home) and we have not regreted it. Our time is our own to do just as we like (go to the van) and we can get the best out of every day.

Marianda, Happy Semi-Retirement honey. Retirement was the best thing i have ever done - apart from bringing children up, of course.

But it gave me the time i needed, to look after my beloved OH, Pat.

Thanks Lindy, it would be nice to fully retire and spend my time with my lovely OH but as he's 9 years younger than me its not going to happen for a few years
Im now only working Monday to Wednesday so it will give us chance to spend more time at our caravan next year while still keeping the poor old brain cells alive.

Zumba, you are such a sweetie and thanks for your good wishes. I have brought up my 2 children but had to continue working right through with only being able to take the statutory paid maternity leave.
