Hi, We have a Avonmore and want to mount our TV in place of the mirror on the wall unit opposite the settee. My question is ... Is it OK to fix the TV wall bracket to the unit where the mirror is (was) and if so, is there any TV size/weight limit for the TV?

Thanks v much

Pete

Probably no help whatsoever, but our BK Grosvenor had a mirror above the fireplace. To the surprise of our salesman, once we took it down there was a socket and aerial outlet and somewhere to fasten the TV bracket. Bless Google and BK's online brochures lol!

Might be worth asking if the TV point, brackets etc. were ordered from new....might save you taking mirror off wall......In our case we specified a tv point in bedroom and extra power point...did not want tv over fireplace in lounge, but in our case the leads will reach if in the future if we took mirror off wall. to the forum by the way...

Not sure you will really get an definitive answer on your make and model of van? Would not think it would be the most straight forward of jobs as you are also going to need a mains and aerial socket. Also, how heavy is the TV going to be, heavier than the mirror it's replacing?

As far as I'm aware on most vans, all you will have is wooden framework behind the wall and apart from building your own frame behind the TV, you would need to be lucky enough to be able to screw into something solid for the brackets and in keeping the TV level and central?

I think maybe it would only be the manufacturer of the van that could give you any idea whether the wall would be strong enough or not and even then could not be sure whether they are able to give you the correct information.
