Lightbulb Caravans ~ 'Owners Reviews' section...

What's everyone's thoughts on having a section for 'Owners Reviews'?

New members are posting asking our opinions/advice about particular caravans lately, so I thought it might be an idea for a new section for us to write reviews about our own caravans, (past or present).
If we could take the time to review them, from one end to the other, including layouts, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, how they have stood up to general wear and tear etc, this could be REALLY USEFUL and would be seen by a wider audience than just our own forum/website.
These will be so useful to read, as often it's not until we've actually bought our caravan's and are using them, that we can see benefits, or pitfalls of our purchase.

What do you think?

Ps, I've suggested it to Darren, as he would need to add the section, but I just wondered what you all think of the idea...

Sorry for highjacking your post Angela but just to help everyone the new section is under 'Owning a Caravan' ere-http://www.gostatic.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=36 (Darren)

Good idea. We've learnt quite a bit since using our van. We are first timers to statics and only took her over in April. Generally we are very happy with her, but there a few things that we would like to tweak.

Hi guys,

As Angela has said she ran this by me (friday was it?) and it sounds a good idea to me. I think the best way is 1 thread per van which I will split into a category for each make.

To start with it's probably best if I post the first post, so if you can put the make and model name in this thread I will set up a post for that van.

Hi Angela,

You only need to add the caravan make/model here- you can add the review to the thread.

I'll move your post over

Thumbs up Come On Guys And Gals!

Any one else fancy doing a review on their caravan?
I was brave yesterday and did the first one! (not many people are buying a 1995 caravan I know!) - but it's still useful for anyone considering buying a 10 footer
It's not hard to do, use my format if you like cos that will save you time laying it out (it took me AGES!) if not choose your own layout.
Come on guys, share your passion for your caravan! (and what you would change maybe?) ...

NO OTHER SITE has "REAL REVIEWS from REAL OWNERS!
