Default Searching for transportation help!

Hi all, I've been emailing people and had no replies and really have no idea how much it could be to transport a caravan I'm interested in.
I'm guessing a fair whack, but having only managed to talk to one guy locally, he guessed around 700, but he's not doing long journeys at the moment
Caravan is 37 (!) foot by 12, it's in Cheshire and hoping to get it to Morpeth Northumberland.

Is there a list anywhere of transport companies? The Internet has not been helpful!

Thank you
Antonia x

to the forum, we moved our van from Argyll to the North East of Scotland which required an escort at least for the first part of the journey, it was 1,200 inc vat. That was about 3 years ago.

That doesn't include, disconnection, reconnection and fees for bringing on to new park.

to the forum, I hope that you find a suitable transporter. I'm not sure if this company can help but you might telephone West lancs caravans who also sell vans but they do have their own transport. They may be open to moving the van for you. Just Google them and it will come up with a link to their site.

Good morning
I've just tweeted this for you as we have several transportation companies who follow us on Twitter. Hopefully they will reply.
Good luck

Antonia and I hope that you manage to get your caravan moved without it costing you an arm and a leg. I can't advise you I'm afraid but hopefully someone will come forward!
