Ive just had a nice surprise. I last weighed me about 3 months ago and my weight reading was so scary that Ive not weighed myself since. Now that Karen has started the new Diet club I thought Id better "grasp the nettle" and weigh myself again.......and Ive lost 12 pounds. All that Ive done is cut down on portions.

Well done Gill, just goes to show you shouldn't always be afraid to step on those scales

What a great idea Karen!

I'm not too much overweight but the scales told me yesterday that half a stone went on just over the holidays so I'd like to get that off again plus get back into my size 10 jeans again comfortably.

The biggest tip I would need, is how to stop eating the yummy things of an evening and how to enjoy the healthy stuff more.

I've got a LOT to lose!! I'm a WW member (have been for ages - I pay for the monthly pass, so have access to all the on-line stuff, plus meetings), but I haven't counted a single point for over a year A couple of years ago, I got me head in the right place and was doing well (almost 3 stone off) .... then I got diagnosed with a form of arthritis and Dad was diagnosed with cancer and my head went to a BAD place - 'naughty' food made the place nicer!! (I've always been a comfort eater).

I've decided that I'm going to give it another go this year and see if I can get my head to that good place again (won't be able to do the swimming and gym I did last time due to the arthritis - I can only swim breast stroke and the pain in my neck and shoulders is made worse by trying to keep my head out of the water to breathe).

I have quite a lot of yummy chocs left from Christmas, so I'm going to finish them, then I'm going back to my favourite WW meeting - the leader is lovely and will only be welcoming and supportive. She won't even comment on how much I've put on since last time she saw me.
