There have been a few take overs by investment groups. It's not always a bad thing. I have seen parks that were aggressive in their sales become much more gentle with their customers. This is because the repayment requirements for the investment companies were much lower than the banks that were financing the previous owners.

There are much worse people to buy parks than investment companies. I know it's unsettling for caravan owners on the parks, change is never easy and I hope it works out for you.

Very true...when park leisure were building their empire...they bought sites and put the site fees up as they changed to 12 months...so biggest change has already been done..

Default Park Leisure takeover

Well Firefly lets see what happens in the future of our parks. I don't think a great deal will happen. It might be good for us

The thing is with Park Leisure is that it appears to be asset rich
Turnover is "ONLY" circa 50 million ( not profit) and it has been 'sold' for double its turnover
One of the original partners has retained a fifth share

If I was an owner on a PL site, I would take some comfort from the above.
From a business model it appears to work very well....if its not broken etc....

Of course time will tell
