Shows, Exhibitions 2015 (continuous updates)
Ok, here we go!
As the new 2015 season approaches, show dates are out, and we'll add updates here for you.
Please add any you hear of too. Especially regarding disabled units on display, we're also interested to hear about Access for Disabled both to and inside these events, as this is useful information.

Anyone going to the Manchester show?
I've just asked on twitter if there will be any wheelchair friendly holiday homes on display, asked NEC Bham too, last year there were non at NEC yet there were lots of disabled visitors.
Very disappointing

Is it because the disabled vans have to be tailor made to the needs of the individual and wheelchairs come in various widths...surely willerby will have a Rio there...

I suppose if the manufacturers only have a limited amount space to show vans (especially indoor like Manchester and Birmingham) it's difficult to choose which vans to take. They probably sell a lot less of the disabled friendly vans as a percentage of their sales, so it's all about the money and profit.
I must admit tho', looking in a disabled friendly van and saying to the customers "you can get this as a standard van" may put customers off because the adapted vans usually have a galley kitchen so it can be accessed by a wheelchair user, whereas the standard van would have a 'U' shaped kitchen. So I suppose it's a difficult decision by the manufacturers.

I was there today. No caravans had ramp access to get in them all steps.
