Default advice required

My first post and I am sure it is not the first time this question has been asked.

Looking for a static caravan / chalet to buy within two hours drive of Plymouth / Portsmouth, it must be pet friendly as we have two elderly dogs.

We are requiring a relaxing tranquil site with fees of 2000 /2500 per annum and it is not important if the park closes for two months in the winter.

One or two bedrooms max would be ideal.

It is our intention to spend four months in the summer on site so we will not be renting out.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

many thanks in advance.

Gordon.

You can define the search area and facilities required.

Good luck.

Gordon (from Portugal!). I can't help with the area you are interested in I'm afraid but Daves suggestion seems like a good idea. You could also try looking at your preferred areas on Google maps for any obvious static sites and then either try and find their website or contact the sites by email/phone.

Good luck in your search
Gill (from England or when at my caravan, from Wales - sorry couldn't resist!)

Many thanks for the replies, I have spent a fair few hours doing more research.

We live permanently in Portugal and are finding the summers each year getting hotter and smokier the older we get so are looking for a summer retreat in cooler climes.

Sent enquiries to agents / private sellers and have been surprised how quick and helpful some are in replying, there have been others that after a week still awaiting.
