Default Good Financials for Willerby

After working through some tough periods, Willerby seem to be doing much better.

I suppose it's all good for the industry. I almost bought a Willerby but changed my mind just before I was due to order.

They seem a very good company. I asked their customer care people a lot of questions and they were always prompt in their replies.

It's good to hear a British manufacturer is doing well and growing their business.
What will be interesting, is the ongoing quality of the product under pretty much new ownership.
Private equity companies operate on a basis whereby maximising profit from their investment is paramount and it is not unknown for quality to suffer as a result.
I have experience of working for many years with a privately owned business who sold out to a private equity company. It has not all gone well since.
As one of my colleagues put it at the time the business was sold, " Private equity companies expect every pound to make a fiver ( at least) and if not, compromises have to be made ".
He was proved right.
Hopefully Willerby will not fall into the trap !

Good to know they aren't going to go bust and void the warranty on our new van

Let's hope quality doesn't suffer, or customers will avoid willerby vans.
