RRRob, a good point regarding electricity supply into the van. That is another ggod reason for having gas central heating in addition to any electric heaters you have.

In the bathrooms we have towel rails, which are connected to the central heating system. I wouldn't want to be without them as they warm up the towels before use, and also airs them off after use.

Please be careful when you use an OFR and make sure it's away from people and pets.
The site warden from my site had one explode on her a few months ago, hot oil went all over her bed, walls, carpet etc in her bedroom. Luckily she wasn't in the bedroom at the time.

O.F.R.s are great I would NOT recommend anything over 200 watts (2000kw) as anything over this uses a lot of electricity. For not a lot of difference in heat output.
