Scampi I'm with you Don't like Alonso.
I think Lewis has alienated himself from the public over the past twelve months no doubtinh he his brilliant driver but needs to change his attitude.

I still think that Jenson is one of the smoothest divers out there and also one of the best if the car is spot on although can't seem ring the neck of a car if its not spot on.

Favourites have to be RED bull again but Ferrari could be dark horses (no pun intended)

Would like to see schuey as Ferrari test driver.

What is quite grounding is that out of season and as often as is able, the drivers often return back to their karting roots especially in the gearbox karts, often known as shifter karts (American terminology) as it is the closest experience to driving an F1 car.

Ironically Bob, schuey is a permanent test driver for TONYKART in Italy and Alonso and others regularly test for the big manufacturers and have karts named after them.....such as.....

Alonso
Zanardi
LH

To name just three

I don't think that you can look past Vettell but it would be great if Button, Alonso, Kimi and Lewis are all there and there about for most of the season.

The spread of talent is probably the best it has been for ages now, all the top 6 teams have 1 great driver and a clear reserve, so all will be out to get there top man the win.

I think that with Lewis been in the 'Mercedes' family all of his life, they should have been able to build the car around his style and so I don;t think they will be as far behind. McLaren need to step up bt in Jenson they have a lead driver who is great at giving feedback. Ferrari may struggle again, somethnig just dosn;t seem right with them but in Alonso they have a top top driver who is always capable of dragging the car up a place or 5 (and annoying me).

Red Bull will be Red Bull. They will probably start slow, Newey will make a change and they will go on to win.

I have enjoyed the 'open' ness of the last season. I wasn't so keen a couple of seasons ago, when some of the races were like processions. But last season was so unpredictable, so it was really exciting. I am wondering how Perez will perform this season.

Our first love was Rallying, and years ago have spent many a cold wintry night in Dalby,Cropton and Staindale.....identifying cars 20 minutes away by the engine. My son was awesome at that. (he still is)

Chris, i don't follow modern motorsport anymore, but i wish your son well in the series. It is good to know that he is doing well in the sport.
