Sad news for RL fans - the George Hotel in Huddesfield (the birthplace of Rugby League) has closed down

All I can find about the RL Heritage Centre, housed within the hotel, is that Stevo has vowed to keep it safe and find it a new home - it will be very sad if it has to move from its 'true' home.

I have to agree Chocy. I wasnt the least bit interested in Rugby (League or Union, TT) but then I met and married a Yorkshireman and suddenly found myself introduced to Rugby League. I love it, both for the excitement of the game and for those gorgeous men () and now Im as keen on the game as my OH (bassetman).

I've been getting into the NRL (Aus and NZ top flight) recently, round 1 has been great so far

Ps, it's free to watch online http://www.rlbet.co.uk/live-nrl-streaming or you can pay for Premier Sports on Sky

hull fc v wigan at wembley, anyone going.
i usually go with friends each year for the weekend, but a couple of years ago mrs chocy asked if she could go if hull get there so this year im taking her. ive booked a lovely hotel in ealing which ive stayed in before and its only about 4 or 5 miles from the stadium. got our tickets to the game in the east stand on top level which i think is a great view. going in car on the friday morning hopefully to arrive at hotel by miday then she wants to go to camden lock market.
i cant wait to see her face as we walk up wembley way and into the stadium.
just hope hull play well.
anyone else going.
