Default Winterisation

I do not want to start another mammoth thread about this but I have hust had a leter from our GM outlining price for draining down etc and I was HORRIFIED:

Drain down and reconneciton 49.95
Gas safety certificate 49.50
Electricla test and certificate (not including pat testing) 48.95
Pat testing 2.50 per item
Gas boiler & Fire service 29.50
Spring clean 69.50
Exterior wash 29.50

And the list goes on and on, as a newbie you may think all this is necessary and tick everything which would cost you well over 300 I for one am not paying it.

Anyone do gas and electric tests as well as drain downs in North Wales?

THanks
JO

It's on Ty Mawr, it's a park resorts site. The other 2 sites I'm on as long as you buy you're insurance from them (which is not unreasonably priced) then they will drain down and reconnect for you.

Do you know of anyone local to us at all? Where are you?

THanks

Jo

Your gas test is very expensive! ours on Presthaven Sands is 42 however our drain downs are 55 each!
Shame a few of us can't get together Jo and maybe someone from outside of north wales could do them.(same with the electric tests) If i hear of anyone i will let you know (although i am still waiting for my gas test to be done although i've paid!)

would probably need to do about 10 or over really to warrant the drive over, it's difficult to say though. I have a mate who does electric tests too who would be able to come with me.

If you search for gas engineers + the area the site is, and see what comes up.
