Default what jobs have you got planned?

when we go back in March I am taking my sewing machine up with me and my staple gun. I am going to re-cover the (orange) headboards, make new curtains throughout, obviously give it a good clean out and check nothing is mouldy or ruined(hope not)..

That is just for starters..

what are you doing?

Hi Tia

Well where do i start lol
We was going to stay in the van all of this winter but we found it to cold to cope with, So next spring im going to start making the van winter proof, insulating the underneath, and boxing in the base,Secondary double glazing, paving out side for our dog Evan and anything else i can think of.
Also want a fit a fan and roof light in the shower room.
I think after all that the wife will let me site down and enjoy the last few weeks of the summer lol !

Regards

I need to make new draw curtains for the lounge and can't make my mind up wether to do them here in February or take my sewing machine to the caravan when we open up in March. Good Spring clean obligatory, love the feeling of everything having a good old wash down and polish and I was warned not to wash walls or anything when we closed up in case of causing

I have got new curtains for the lounge. I need to make new blue ones for the little bedroom ( orange must be a 2003 colour) and cover the headboard. I want "himself" to put a shelf in the cupboard under the sink and the site ought to have done our decking. It was supposed to be done before christmas but they reckon there was a bit of weather !

Like Maddy, our decking should be done (cheers for everyone's advice on earlier thread). I need to reverse the drain down, fix all of the leaks sort my satellite out, set up patio furnishing flatpack, clean the outside of van and reseal around a roof vent in the shower. My missus needs to fit blackout curtains in the kids rooms

Supposed to be a way of relaxing-if it's anything like when we had the tourer I'l be grafting harder than I do at home

- other than cleaning top to bottom, washing down walls before painting them to neutralise yucky flowers, making new bedroom/lounge/dining room curtains, recover all headboards, fit shelf and new bathroom cupboard, replace oven and hob with free standing double oven, tidy up/re-paint front of gas fire in lounge, replace front window (i hope), underseal to protect from sea salt corrosion, insulate underneath, box in, decking, other than that we've nothing to do so I hope we dont get board ... Ha!
Which brings us nicely to the end of the season! lol

when i was trying to get to sleep last night i was thinking of how i could fix a huge washing line up from my van to another( a long way away) and then drape all my quilts on them to air them.. i am sure the other occupants wont mind if i say that they can use the line too...

i really really want a bit of decking outside the front door- so mother can step out( when she visits) and have a fag rather than going down the metal steps ( you would think she was climbing everest the carry on that i get when she is at the van with me)

all down to cost tho...
