Default Naming Rights??

Heres the problem: she who must be obeyed isnt a fan of me referring to 'the van' as 'the van'
Instead, she has decided that she will christen our second home with a name more in keeping with her own likes.
My money is on her conduring a very girly / cute / cuddly name which i in turn would only dare use behind closed doors
Have any of you given your vans pet names?? If so, what....

Im actually embarrased by the amount of posts and replies I do! Not to mention the coincidence of us all doing the same things, - vacuum shrink bags being a prime example!! But would you believe that I was actually thinking about this name thing myself today!! the 'van' just doesnt do justice does it? Bit common if I'm honest....the van!! No far too downmarket - so yes, I too am thinking of another name but trying to resist a girls name!! You know how some people always refer to their cars by their make? But that didnt work either - the Atlas? Nah - so I'm still out on that one but open to suggestions!!

I mainly just say the van, don't think its common just easy --- but --- after saying that I did suggest we call it Doris after the old dear who had it all its life previous to us, but couldn't quite get my head around saying "going to see Doris" so it stays The Van.

Default The Van

We too refer to going to the 'The Van' at the With (Withernsea), but it also has an official name - Springfield - what else could it be !!
