i was sold my van as being 1999,but when my park looked into it,s age for valuation on an upgrade it turns out to be 1997.not sure if it would have made any difference if anything had happened, but i have informed my insurance company.just wondered how many of us have vans purporting to be of a different age.

Think it happens more than folks realise. If I was in that position, I would go straight back to the Park and if I got no joy from them then it would be straight to Trading Standards. At the end of the day, you have ended up with something that isn't as described. Also if it is older than stated when purchased, then there are value implications too.

Bit of a bonus though if you ended up with a van a lot younger than you thought.

My van has a number - I think after a couple of visits she will be 'named' but only to us not to put a sign up. I only found the sign with her number on when I was rummaging through the undergrowth at the front lol x

Penelope is a very posh name - it would match your posh van.

Haven't really named our van .............. think the best one on here is 'Money Pit' lol
