Default Static caravan wanted east Yorkshire

Hi all
I'm new to the forum, and after reading several posts decided to take the plunge and register
I am also looking for the first time to purchase a static caravan on a small/medium size family friendly site in east Yorkshire
We have 2 young children so any site recommendations would be welcome , and if anybody selling privately and can recommend any sites that will allow us to site our own caravan, that hopefully we find through the forum
Many thanks

Our van is on a site close to Hornsea - facilities-wise, we only have a bar/club, tiny 'essentials' shop and very small play area, but we love it as the site is quiet and open all year (and the owners live on site, so it's as secure as it can be without being a fortress as they 'do the rounds' regularly, and there's no sub-letting). Out site fees, on the most expensive part of the site, are 2002. I know there are quite a few 'vans for sale at the moment, in a wide price-range (not because there is anything wrong with the site - simply because the part of the site we are on is new this year, so there's lots of extra space and quite a few people have upgraded to new(er) vans on the bigger new plots.).

Cowden Holiday Park - leave Hornsea on the Withernsea road, and it's just after the village of Mappleton.

When you are working out the cost of your caravan don't forget to work out how much it will cost you to put it on the site, including your site fees, rates, utility bills etc. We worked out that ours costs us about 120 a week for each week the site is open. We realised that there would be running costs but hadn't realised it would be quite so much!

Default Selling my caravan

Hello, We have a static for sale in Neasham (near Darlington)
It's a 2 bedroom 6 berth Stellar Quasar 29' x 10' Sited on Newbus Grange Country Park. The site is 5* and only closed for 2 weeks in Jan, it has a newly built wooden play park but nothing else so very quiet. However, it's a very family orientated site, welcoming dogs too! The caravan is 1 year old in July and comes with many extras including, central heating/combi boiler, double glazing, full sized gas oven/hob/extractor, newly laid patio, en suite bathroom and many more. We are looking for offers around 17,500 so make us an offer! The caravan is in as new condition. It's a short walk away from the country pub which has a beer garden looking onto the river. Site fees are around 2100 per year. We are number 32 which is a double sized plot (take a look at the Newbus Grange website at the picture of the site map)

Hello Bubwithjaw, Have you found anything yet? We have a lovely caravan - ABI Arizona (2004) 3 bedrooms with everything included for letting. It is at Withernsea Sands, near to beach, on a very well maintained site, with swimming pool, club and playgrounds, lots of room for kids to play. The caravan is for sale at 9,300 including this year's site fees.
