Hey Maggie - the other thing you have to bear in mind when you look at potential parks is, because of all the rain, they might not look their best at the moment. Our park had some very large 'ponds' on the grass at one end of the park last weekend. It didn't look too great, especially where people had been driving on the grass! But at least you will be able to spot any pitches that flood a lot.

Hiya MuppetChops yep I can see what you are saying about Parks not looking there best and flooding etc. etc. we have a downpour here last night and when it rains here boy does it rain!!!!!! it may be good anyway because if the parks and pitches look good at this time of year when there has been so much bad weather then they must be pretty decent when the weather is OK (if you understand what I am rambling on about - I am prone to rambling - it's an age thing) Take care Maggie

I dont think any park looks at its best at this time of the year and as has been said the amount of rain that has fallen recently doesnt help matters.

Unfortunately for the Parks, the weather has been a problem this year. Some, have made a good job of things, right TT?.

TT is one of those, that have done remarkably well this year BTW. But an awful lot look as though they've given up - not that they have

Seem to be putting me big size 9's in it here (shurrup Tony). Ok.

Hi Zumbagrandadd - yep you are right nothing will look at its best but it will hopefully give us an idea of the size of the parks and if we like the look of them. Thanks Maggie

At least you will be viewing the parks with their autumn dresses on. (Sometimes I can be so poetical ! ) The colours of autumn are breathtaking so although the parks are perhaps not at their best they will still look good with the leaves turning.

Lets face it some of our nicest days in autumn are the ones like on Saturday/Sunday. Sunny, bright and reasonably warm but with a bit of a nip in the air.
