I agree Premier are better quality than TL. She who shall be obeyed says that Premier Lodge beds are the most comfortable she's ever slept in - and she can sleep!

Having said that T L currently have a sale on and it is possible to get a room for 10 -we've just booked one in Hull for early Feb.

Are TL really not so good these days then?
It was 10 years ago now I come to think about it lol
We stayed in a different one every 2 nights, and they were absolutely spotless and the bed was amazing in every one... The staff were incredibly helpful too, there were lots of 'suited and booted' guys around using them then, maybe they have changed since my use......
We actually both had food poisoning just after arriving at one of them, and the staff really helped us as we couldn't leave the room we were so ill... they arranged a doc for us...

We pass the Premier Inn at Rhuddlan as we use the A547 a lot and there are plenty of places to eat nearby to suit low to high budget.

Nothing wrong with TL Ange, they are basic, clean and cheap. If you can get a 10, 15 or 19 a night deal so much the better. The only thing we found was unless you stay in one in a city centre they tend to be at junctions on A roads and there's nothing around them so you need to drive to get food.

Daughter in law uses Premier every 4 weeks and takes the grandchildren. She swears by them. Kids call them the Moon and Stars hotels!

We have stayed at the TL at Burford a few times, fantastic location ok on A40 roundabout but quiet and just 20 yard walk across road and in Burford...Loads and loads of places to eat.

With my other sons kart racing around the UK for the last 10yrs we used Premier Inns at least 3 out of 4 weekends per month for the last few years and always made sure we booked a FAMILY room even though 99% of time it was just me and him, they are huge rooms and usually consist of a double, a single and sofa bed, the cost is the same wether you book a single, double, twin or family....so why not....

Booking either 3 months in advance OR the night before can be adventagous cost wise as well as booking between 24th December and 1st January where you can obtain 19-29 rooms !

We have stayed at both. TL was fine but Premier Inns tend to have more extra touches like choice of firm or soft pillows. Both were spacious, modern and very clean. Hope u have a brill time.

We have stayed in a Premier Inn in London and Oxford on several occasions and the rooms were almost identical. The breakfast was fine and everywhere clean. I stayed in a Travelodge a couple of years ago. The room stank of stale cigarettes and the breakfast was poor.
