Default Atlas Everglade Super 2002 12X35

Atlas Everglade Super 2002 12X35.
Looks a nice caravan from the outside. I think it comes in white with blue trimmings or all green. Bit chintzy inside as regards the soft furnishings. Nice light woodwork with some nice display cabinets in the living room. Very light and airy with good headroom if you are on the tall side. One double and two twin bedrooms. Easy to push the two singles together in the smallest twin bedded room, if you prefer a small double. All the bedrooms are entered via a corridor which can be entered through a door in the kitchen. This is good as it means the sound doesn't travel so easily from the living areas of the van. Plenty of room in the living area and kitchen. Livingroom seating has a pull out double bed hidden under it. The shower room is spacious with a seat in the shower, also can put plug in shower tray and have a small square bath for children. The toilet is in a seperate room with a small sink, which is handy. Plenty of storage throughout even under the seating area in the livingroom. There is a handy walk in store cuboard in one twin room which locks. If you wanted to let the van out you could put your personal things away in this. It has blow heating and double glazing throughout and a gas fire in the livingroom. However, we use plug in radiators instead of the blow heating for economy. I love the van, plenty of room for a family. The main fault we have had has been the roof leak. It originated from the ridge on the top of the roof, which needed to be taken off and the screw fixings underneath needed to be resealed. It wasn't a big job for an expert. Apparently it is a fault which can occur with this make. We love her because she's ours.

we have a Altas Everglade Super 28x12, the windows are not double glazing and although they are ok need some advice?

I found that all the windows are tight fitted but there are 2 that can open with sponge insulation foam around the edges, so when you shut them the sponge is easily penetrable with a screwdriver to push thru the sponge and open the latches, I don't understand this, why would these 2 be like this and obviously its a security flaw??

The other windows that open are not like this they are sealed shut although the black sponge seal is tightly firm to the window frames, where these 2 are not and stick out a half inch making it easy to open from outside?

Any help why these 2 are like this?

thanks
