Shame for a lot of people on that site.

If the van is in good nick and looked after then it should be allowed to stay.

The dangers of buying on a "no age limit"....must admit thought they would have brought in 20 year agreement. .....

There are an awful lot of vans on that park. There is obviously going to be a lot of heartache. I feel sorry for those effected.

I think it's time these people were challenged legally in court ? Modern caravans ( by that I mean 20-25 years old ) are in a totally different class built and constructed to last ! ......If they are !Looked after there is no reason why they can't last a lifetime ? Look at the number of beautiful classic cars etc. Not to mention the much saught after classic motor homes.

Peter, it's all about money. Money from upgrading, money from new clients paying for their pitch. Unless the static caravan community get together and start a petition for parliament to debate the subject, nothing will happen.

Fortunately there are some good park owners. OK they have to make money to invest in to their parks but so does many business and they do need a reward for their effort and investment.

Our park has older vans, but they are all kept clean and in good condition.

I believe this site is owned by the local council and not privately owned.
I do feel for those people that cannot afford to upgrade and will get nothing for their current caravans if they have to leave
