Hi Lissa, The van you have looked at isn't mine although I have to say it is stunning. It belongs to Wickedred, who has done an excellent job.
Looking at the pics, I'm sure it will inspire a lot of van owners who are in the process of upgrading theirs.

Would love to see them wicked red.
I’ve so far reupholstered 11 out of 12 cushions. I’ve saved the worst till last, the dreaded corner ones. Took me 4 days to do the first one . One day just thinking about it. Second and last one to do. Stacks of material left which I’ll keep in case I ever have to redo another one.
Also recovered two headboards. These in comparison took about 20 minutes each...absolute doddle.
Reckon I’ve saved £2000 or thereabouts

You must have the patience of a saint. My first job was a Tailor's cutter. We studied design, tailoring, pattern cutting, and costing. I found tailoring most boring but we had to study it as it was part of our City and Guilds exam.

Thanks Mosquito. Eventhough I say it myself, it’s looking fab.
It’s not looking professional but good enough for us.
The curtains went up today and now they’re bringing it all together.
Wish I could post a picture.

Wish, I’d had a formal training. I know my corners weren’t perfect but I don’t think they’ll fall apart
And compared to how it looked before ( tired and a bit shabby) it looks a million times better.

Sounds as if you have made great progress and, at the end of the day, it's all about what you are happy with.
You can see a huge improvement since you started the refurb, so well done you !
( Now get working on how to post pictures )
