Thanks for all your kind messages. She is hanging on, but goodness knows how. It is like watching a living skeleton fade away and it will be a relief when it is all over for her.

Thanks for all your lovely messages of support. Mum died peacefully at 4 pm today. I was with her all day and to the end. I'm emotionally drained now, but glad she is at rest.
