Default Autumn/Winter topic links.

Hi all.

Here's some links to threads that will be popular in the next few months. If we can post on these existing threads, rather than start up new ones about the same subject, they will be much easier for all of us, and guests to find..

If you are looking for a particular subject not mentioned, just post on here, and we'll find it for you.

Hope this helps

I'll add more, so keep popping back

Time to check your winter cover dates on your insurance policy. There are also stipulations of things you need to do at this time if year. If you don't follow them your claim will be invalid.
At the beginning of this thread are lots if links for topics to read up on.

Hope this helps

Our site is only closed in february. I'm afraid to leave the caravan with mini draindowns until then. Do other members have a full draindown done by the site or continue using their vans throughout the winter months?

We did a mini drain down last weekend and we will do it next time we are there too, our site closes in November so I will book a site drain down once we have our last weekend at the van..

We drain down and take a container for water, just use the one loo and put anti freeze down that. The way they drain down we get left with an outside tap in effect so its not much trouble for the two of us. If we had kids I might feel differently.
