Default The Lawns 2011

A highly recommended day out for all caravan lovers (static and touring).
This years dates for the public 3rd and 4th Sept.
Don't forget to log on to Willerby website and sign up for your free tickets. Parking is free so you have nothing to lose but I would suggest to take your own food (too much time wasted queuing), plenty of benches and picnic tables, or if it's nice weather, plenty of grass to sit on.
Hope to see you all there (maybe we should have special badges so we can recognise each other ).
ML.

Thanks for the dates Emmell - saved me looking it up! We'll be going - The Lawns last year was the final decision-maker that spurred us into stopping touring and getting the static. I've always really enjoyed the caravan shows at the NEC - now I enjoy The Lawns - it's great fun crawling all over the new models (especially when you look at them and say, 'Ours is better!'). Can't wait!

It's in Cottingham south of Hull, may be a bit too far for you Angela B.
Although I've spoken to people there who've come from all over the country, some have even worked it in with their holidays.

Don't forget to visit the Golf Course exhibition as well.
First time we went we ended up at the golf course and thought ' this show's a bit rubbish', but then we realised there were two shows .
The golf course is free entry and parking and has the smaller manufacturers like Delta, Stella, Arronbrook, Victory, Regal and Atlas. So it's still worth a visit.
Don't forget to pick up all the brochures and price lists for 2012, they're great to sit and look through when you get home. I've got brochures going back years, am I sad, or what?
We got the opportunity to tell one of the manufacturers, last year, that they should have put a washbasin in the toilet, he said there would be one in before the trade arrived. Result I hope.
Anyway enjoy it, if it's raining take wellies because it's on grass.

Beaulieu is the same people and the south equivalent. Never seen it in writing bet that the wrong spelling. Our site exhibits there and gives out tickets on request.

Don't mean to be pedantic, but Cottingham is north of Hull! If you approach Hull from the M62/A63, turn off when you get to the Humber Bridge and follow signs for A164 towards Beverley - you will pick up signs for the show on the main road.

I was going to point out that if the show was South of Hull it would be a bit soggy!
